Fear Of Falling Poem by Marieta Maglas

Fear Of Falling

Rating: 5.0

Falling inside the black,
Fear of falling,
Fear of feeling alone;

Standing on the edge,
Peering down below to
The tiny abyss,
Running as far away as possible
From the reality
In a moment
Between hope and despair;

Plunging into death,
Being unable to navigate through the grief,
Soaring down
The iceberg of sadness,
Being completely at His mercy,
In losing control
But never losing control;

Wanting to be completely free;

Searching for the truth
In the mirror
Inside its fogged glass,
Remembering some untouched promises,
Feeling His presence,
Feeling the emptiness
And His missing;

Falling blindly,
Feeling alone;
Trying to find
Some reasons;
Clinging to the hope
That has been stained with
The fear,
And praying
To find love
Instead of loneliness,
Praying
To reach happiness;

Falling inside the black,
Fear of falling,
Fear of feeling alone
While He is able
To keep everyone
Alive while being alone.

Beautiful....really magnificent feeling of falling from unreal to reality...from death to eternity...from darkness to light within. Perhaps you have got the beginning of a journey from finite to infinite with the conscious way through poetry. Bon-voyage. Unique state of mind to touch the eternity. But stick with the touch of art...that is poetry. A writing simply enlarges the readers hollow identity to catch tightly the word He. Perhaps from here the quest of a life greater than the life begins. Began in ancient time. Fear of falling transforms into pleasure of rising by holding the word HE. Fantastic. A new phase of realization perhaps coming near to you. Live long....translate the nothingness with the view of a totality. Regards, 10+++ pranab

However much one makes the most of himself to get rid of the reality, there always appears a kind of wall that will hinder you from doing so... Reality always contradicts with our well being. I am really affected by the way the words are selected in this poem. Thanks for sharing...10 over 10 my rate for this...
