Flown Away Poem by Samantha Rose Turner

Flown Away

Rating: 4.8

My dreams have flown far away,
Seeking to find the rush of day,
Climbing the mountaints looking for a new day,
Searching through forests looking for love,
Hoping to find a sign.

Flying farther away you go, searching in the deep white snow,
Hiding from pain, in the freezing rain,
But still in the open of the breeze.

It chills your bones it seals your heart,
Protecting that love that is so strong,
What have you done wrong?
Will it be there when you arive or will it shatter before your eyes?
Searching far and wide beyond the sky,
Hoping to find the right guy.

I wish you would come back to me and help me search,
Why have you flown away and ended my search?
Leaving me in darkness in this cave,
With know one whom will save me
When you flew away.
