French Fries Poem by Stephen De Marino

French Fries

Rating: 5.0

Oh man, I know this is bad
But the feeling of the grease
Running down your chin
The ketchup, the cooking oil
The potato flesh
Mashing together in my mouth
The salty tang
As I chew and chew and chew
I can feel my arteries harden
And the cells store the fat
But oh MAN do they taste good...
I pick them up one by one
Plopping them into a tomato material bath
The delicately inserting them into
My mashing gnashing maw
The sweet chemical juices
Running down the back of my throat
As I crunch my french fries
Boy, are they bad for me
But, MAN are they good.
