Good Intentions Poem by Audrey Heller

I had many things, I had planned to do,
but had to take a break, for even though,
my intentions were good, I found it was, a
big mistake! Some days, you find, it's hard
to unwind and it's best, if you leave well
enough, alone. I try, to take it easy and
don't even answer, the telephone! Just to
do nothing, can be a wise thing to do,
especially, when everything, seems to
bother you! Oh yes, we all have days like
this and it doesn't help, to ask why. Just
the way it comes, it also pass by! I guess,
we have to be grateful, when a good day,
is upon us and we can do, what needs to
be done. It alleviates, any, kind of pressure
and off we can go, in the mid day sun!
