Grease Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Grease

You are as fat as the grease but eating like a Prince,
For the skin of the leopard is around you;
And you have to sow in tears and reap in joy.

A deer from the hands of the hunter and,
A bird from the hands of the fowler;
But be like the ant to learn her ways and be like,
The fetters of iron!
For you are the spetacles of my love.

To beautify the meek and to dance like a Queen,
And with the spiced wine to drink at times;
But do cut through the trees to see my love,
For i am like the tents of Yahseph.

To you the needy cry out for help,
Hear oh heavens and give ear to my muse;
For the cow an the bear will graze together one day.
