Gwendolyn Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Gwendolyn

Taxi, taxi, hospital please,
Take me to my Gwendolyn.
Queen of my life
Queen of my heart
How can I live if we are apart?

I need to tell her how I care,
For she is kind and she is fair,
Hurry please,
No time to spare,
Don't let her die, just take me there.

I'll pray each day and every night
To see her smile would bring delight.
Doctor, Doctor,
Help her please
My lovely darling Gwendolyn
