Hallelujah Poem by Hermione Femalton

Hallelujah

And no-one here has seen the light,
And no-one cares enough to fight,
Coz the world is now a dark despair,
And no-one’s brave enough to care.

But the single song always remained,
That single song has stayed the same,
The woman sung it in the street,
Back when drums sound out the beat.

And the single song that helps them cope,
The song that brings belief in hope.
A song of feelings hard to say,
A song that’s always been that way.

Hallelujah sing the words,
Hallelujah reads the verse.
The single song that will remain,
The single song that stays the same.
