Hey You Poem by Ryan Sanders

Hey You

I hate the way I feel
Thinking of what I have done, what I had
It's like my skin has begun to peel
I'll always remember the good times, this is the only bad

I want you to know, I respect you
You may ask why? I say it's what I had to do
Do not hate me, just know one thing
I held true, even if in the end I made your heart sting

It's better now than later, it couldn't work
I thought it would, I wanted it to
But in my heart I knew, you were a berk
A tear slides down, hey you
