Morning, on my lowly walk,
my presence grace the shore.
I count the fairy footsteps...
they number just as four.

i walked a mile, inside my thoughts..
took out the key and opened up...
broke open the trust i had inside
let go of the pain i'd been trying to hide.

We had something before,
that we will never have again.
Even though you broke me down,
My crutches are my friends.

The cold is setting in now..
the chills run down my spine,
I thought that I could fix my life,
But now there's no more time.

A single heartbeat is how long it takes for your eyes to adjust to the light from inside.
A single tear dropping from your eyelashes to your knee while you're curled up in your corner; away from the world; is equal to the velocity of your heart shattering.
