I have an image
In my mind
An understanding
Of a kind
Not writ in text
Though clear as day
But in order to
Communicate
Convey
That image
To another soul
To words
I must translate it
Whole
That is much easier
Said than done
For those images
Are often
Far too complex
For my tongue
Yet
If I write those words
In verse I find
Said image
Is translated
Whole
Quite simply
Line by line

It is amazing how poetry can say just what you want to say, but in a nicer way, and pleasing to the reader too. I liked this one immensely, so true. Love Ernestine XXX
