It's Your Life Poem by Timothy Michael Ricke

It's Your Life

By Timothy Michael Ricke

Ponder what you may
For you designed this day, yesterday
What were you thoughts, your words, your deeds?
The answers are tomorrow leads

Love it, live it, be thankful for it
It's your life you made it that way
Today is the only place to live
Give all that you have to give

Understand the now, the present, this very moment in time
Here lies love, living and joy sublime

Your senses, no longer play of yesterday. Not yet in the morrow
It is now you live or lose this day and look back in sorrow

Feel the sun, hear the birds, touch the flower
Hear the thunder and walk the rain's gentle shower

All these are God's perfect design
Drink of today and savor the wine

The lessons are learned for today
All that agree … say yea!
Stop wining on for yesterday is such a sin
Live, live, live now. if not now when?
