Just Hold On Poem by Lana May Hamlin

Just Hold On

I see you, you’re dead inside
Your depression and heartache you can no longer hide
The world you have knows has been turned upside-down
You walk around with a tear in your eye, and a frown
Just hold on and things will get better
Love her still; hug her sweater
Don’t hide from it don’t run
Just hold on
Separated by distance is where you are
But the love in your hearts brings you close, not far You feel that you have lost the meaning in your life
Your sweet and precious future wife
Just hold on, my friend
This doesn’t have to be the end
You know what it’s like to feel so low
That you want to slit your wrists and let it all go
You close your eyes and wish things to go back
Everything they do bring on another attack
Just hold on and everything will soon turn your way
Just hold on for a better day
