Maybe Someday Poem by Hailey Agnew

Maybe Someday

Don't cry,
I love you.
I promise it will be okay,
I just wish you would love me too.

Everythings okay,
It will all be fine.
Everything will work out,
Your life is twined with mine.

Don't break down,
There's really no need.
Dry your dreamy eyes,
And follow me.

I love you,
I know the feeling's not returned.
But I'm here when you need me,
You pain will be cured,
Your cries heard.

So give me your trust,
I don't need love or lust.
I just want your company,
Even if you don't love me.

That's alright,
I just want to help.
If you need a best friend,
My patience is forever, this isn't the first time I've delt.

But the worst part is knowing,
Loving you is so unhealthy.
The worst part is knowing,
All the lies and secret deeds.

But nothing will help now,
It's far too late.
I love you and I'm sorry,
I just can't stay away.

I wish I could leave you,
You brought this on yourself.
But I can't just watch,
I have to help.

You don't appreciate,
Every little thing I've done for you.
You don't apreciate,
All I've done and still do.

But I love you,
And I'll always put you first.
Maybe someday that will change,
And I'll love again uncursed.
Maybe this was the worst.

Maybe I'll love again someday,
Maybe I'll finally hear what I need to hear when I hear him say,
He loves me and wants me to stay.
To stay and never go away.
