Melanie

Somehow our minds
will always see,
The smiling face
Of Melanie,
The laughing eyes
That shone with care,
The dancing light
That sparkled there;
Like sunlight through
A gentle wind,
The warmth that seemed
To glow within,
Forever in our
hearts will stay,
With ev’ry single
Passing day…..
And as we face
The here and now,
With heavy hearts
We make this vow,
No matter what
May come to be,
We’ll all remember
