Mother Poem by Nicole Ann Thomas

Mother

I don't' think I ever told you
how much I appreciate the
things you do
You've always been there when
I cried and always spotted me,
when I lied
You've cleaned my wounds, when
I got hurt and punished me when
I did wrong
You were always there to kiss
me good night
You always knew now to make
things all right
I can't imagine, what it would
be like without your loving touch
You will always and forever come
first in my heart
Mom, I haven't been showing you
lately and I haven't told you, but
now I'm writing these words
down, You're not just my
mother, You're forever my best friend.
