My Frustration Poem by Rashid Meras Pillai

My Frustration

Rating: 5.0

Though deluded, still I perceive,
Glittering life, a flickering flame.
Time is changing,
Still time is the same.

Hey life, Stop! ! Take me nowhere,
I have no time to stare, no time to spare.

Between shadows of the towers,
Where is the warmth of the sunshine?
That cool breeze which woke me up,
Still blows fresh down my memory line.
Bliss of that day, I miss today;
And the distant rose’s smile.
Can someone return me that bliss?
I want to plunge into it for a while.

Hey life, Stop! ! Take me nowhere,
I have no time to care, no time to spare.

I can breathe, but I’m not free,
I can see, but there is no light,
I can hear, but there is no silence,
Emotions unknown bind me tight.
I am a dead man,
Living in this dying world.
My wishes and desires are buried,
Over which I’ve raised my tomb impearled.

Hey life, Stop! ! Take me nowhere,
I want some time to share, some time to spare.

Time slithers away,
A ruthless serpent, none can tame.
Though deluded, still I perceive,
Glittering life, a flickering flame.
