You stare into my eyes looking for a shortcut
Don't you walk away
Don't you let your eyes shut
Open them and see me, staring at you from across the room
Because you're standing in the light of the full moon
Take a deep breath, then walk my way
Take my hand, then say all you need to say
Don't hesitate to tell me darling, cuz I need to know
And don't try to walk away cuz I won't let you go
So next time take me with you when you roam about
Because when I'm all alone there's no easy way out
