Now You Know Poem by Trysta Due

Now You Know

I'm sorry I never told you
About the one time just last year,
I was so upset I didn't know what to do
And I ended up shedding a tear,
I didn't tell anyone at all
I just wanted to be alone,
Down the lonely hall
I was able to be my own,
Able to be who I wanted to be
And not just someone you wanted to see.

Blood was shed that night
But I never told you that either,
I knew that it wasn't right
So I hid it with a cover,
Though you knew something was wrong
I lied again and said I was fine,
So I sit here singing my song
Lost in my own mind,
Fading away infront of my eyes
You're the only one who doesn't believe the lies.

I can see it on your face
That you're worried about me,
When all I need is some space
As you all can planly see,
All that I am writing; is for you
So that you know that I'm okay,
That I know what I'm gonna do
In order to know the right way,
I don't hold in my emotions anymore
I just let it all fall to the floor.
