Oh Lord Poem by Rhiannon Scase

Oh Lord

Oh lord, I thought it not to be true,
Why have you taken her to be with you?
She's only young and not much help
I told her I loved her as she left with a yelp.
Surely twas not time for her to leave,
I am so lonely and do nothing but greave.
She had bright blue eyes & silk soft blonde hair,
For you to take her is certainly unfair!
She did nothing wrong and deserved no pain
I lost my baby for a soul for you to gain.
Oh lord, Is it really true?
If so, I have now lost faith in you!

Good Lord! What's worse than separation? Don’t ruin this union Don’t hurt cheerful lovers Do whatever you want Don’t do that!
