I can not stand to see you hurt,
If it makes you feel better you can borrow my shirt.
You're a wonderful person inside and out,
But the way that you're feeling, what's that all about?
How can I help you to see who you are?
Your existence makes me feel like a star!
And to mention your caring and heart throbbing ways,
With everything you do, you cease to amaze.
You make me feel special but what about you?
You are a blessing, you can see your love right through.
Please don't be upset cause yo make me wanna cry,
Just stop and take a minute as you watch the world go by.
You're already successful, you just don't see it yet,
You've more courage than anyone I've ever met.
You are sweeter than sugar and strong like fine gold,
For what you have accomplished, you are not very old.
Focus on the good things, there are more of them than bad,
And look at the ways that we learned from our Dad.
I will always be with you and to this I swear,
Everything I have is for you to share.
Thank you for being who you are today,
You're everything already, what more can I say?
