Redefine Poem by Igor Wolfson

Redefine

You asked him not to love you
And not to think of you, as if you're dead
But none of the above as satisfactory he found
He redefined love instead

And now he doesn't think of no one
And nothing is his interest
And when they say he hates and moans
He feels as if they love him back... Sweet bitterness

And in this mess of dumb emotions
What is there left to do?
There is no such a thing as potion
That could just wash him off of you

And so believing all is real, he goes on living in a lie
While you show him you wanna die
He doesn't get just what you meant
He gets it as a love assent
