Shadows Poem by Dan Brown

Shadows

Rating: 4.7

My shadows.
Anonymous darkness stalking me,
occasionally revealing themselves
to be not so anonymous.
My shadows.
Creeping silently behind me.
Refusing to leave me be.
Occasionally, they reach out to me.
I reach out to them, too.
That shadow, though, is a shadow of you,
And my helpless hand just slips right through.
