She Poem by Victor Osorio

She

Rating: 3.1

She's dreaming
in the middle of the day
Not even a whisper
Could break her away
What's on her mind
Time ticks by her
One day at a time
She must be sitting there
Watching things so beautiful
I wish I was beautiful
She sings in silence
Enjoying an unseen view
She cracks a smile
She pretends to see--again
She pretends to hear--again
So by herself
She lives alone
Her fading memories
Take her home.
