A taste of redemption
Sweet as pure sunlight.
Shines through the clouds of
remorse.
Leaving only a small aftertaste of
guilt.

A brush of forgiveness
Beautiful as daydreams.
Filter between my nightmares,
Leaving me alone with the
untamed demons.

A fresh ray of light-
Delicate as life itself.
Shines through my darkness
But casts shadows
Over my heart.

A perfect moment-
As rare as a fleeting star.
Steer away all the bad thoughts.
Athough it is flawless.
One imperfection-
Could ruin all.

Life is a delicate balance.
We all hope for-
Redemption, forgiveness, light, perfection.
Beautiful things.
That are the cause of-
Sins, accusation, darkness, and imperfection.
The good and bad are balanced.
-Life can be a gift or a curse-
