The Oath Poem by Hannington Mumo

The Oath

Before the angelic retinues of the sky
And the seraphic throngs that never die,
Swear I to forsake every reasoning shallow;
In narrow-mindedness I never shall wallow
If it always be within my feeble reach
To embrace chances apt and options rich!
