The River Song Poem by Angelica Duardo

The River Song

Rating: 5.0

Trees are swaying in the wind
In the cold wet winter wind
There is nothing I can do
But sit and watch
Out my clear and lonely window
I will see the rain come down
Feel the softness of each and every drop
I’ll pretend that I am here
That I’m staring at the streets
With their people and their
Trees swaying in the wind
In the cold wet winter wind
There is nothing I want the most than
This sky that cries like the river
And keeps making me feel cold
And I shiver every time I hear its roar
And I see its
Trees that are swaying in the wind
In the cold wet winter wind
There is nothing I can do
But sit and watch

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This lyrical poem, has cascading movement, effulgent imagework, and flows like its title...like a river...with steady even-flow....Well done, Angelica! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
