The World Still Turns Poem by Phil Soar

The World Still Turns

The world still turns
The moon still waxes and wanes
The sun tries hard to warm the earth
While Humanity strains

Nature continues to welcome spring
Here at home
While far away there is no welcoming
No fun today

Birds may sing
Flowers may bloom
Yet there is no room
For relaxation

Eventually our minds might twist
The worry, the pain,
Endless days and nights
Mentally challenging

The world will still turn
The moon will still shine
And there it all is
Your world, and mine

Sun and mood deeply influence lives on Earth. Birds beautifully sing and nature welcomes spring. This poem is very interestingly penned with broader mind.
