there will come a day
i will cease to
think of you (i pray)
but do not believe
a word of this for
i think you still
care for me and
hold me in
your thoughts
and as i read the book
you gave me with
the love poem marked
especially for me
i wonder how long
you would wait
for me or any woman
for that matter
