Turn In Your Grave Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Turn In Your Grave

Turn in your grave

You and I have a lot to talk of
-you, actor and cowboy
-set to competing John Wayne
-and ready to fight Indians as savage…
-then became governor to "The Richest State"
-and your capital the city I was based
-and in my final days you came there as a guest
-even then, I recall, some saw you as head of KKK

You and I have a lot to talk of
-we saw world variedly, different
-in our thoughts, eyes and minds
-so each one headed for direction
-yours fooling your nation
-domestic your brains
-but not I, I did not!

You and I have a lot to talk of
-now listen and feel shame
-you can turn in grave
-you are a centre to
-many deaths
-lot of hate
-to terror

You…you…you
-Ronald Reagan!

You and I have a lot to talk of
-the voice of true thoughts came on tape
-yes you were recorded unaware
-that proved who you are
-big liar
-double faced-double faced
-for great Gorbachev had message
-as friends, brothers
-but in heart, secretly had plan to bomb them

You and I have a lot to talk of
-USSR broke you wanted to celebrate
-you the fool…come and face the terrors!
