Tv Dinners Poem by Paul Christopher Henry

Tv Dinners

Don't want that fish mom
Feel as big as a log
Can't eat that steak mom
Give it to the dog

Don't want that rice mom
Don't want to grow fat
Can't drink that milk mom
Give it to the cat

Gee look at that kid mom
Never seen one so thin
Don't want that bread mom
Throw it in the bin

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We constantly see images on our tv's of hungry emaciated children in Africa yet we continue to waste vast amounts of food. I wanted to express the ugliness of it in a poem.
