Finally I have realised, that love is a journey,

As u are the one for this creature, lonely.....




In those childhood days-fun and frozy,

Who knew those were the hands for life, which we held,

for ringa ringa rozy....? ?

I thank our school, playground, homework and tuition's daily doze,

Because those were the elements, that kept us close....

As we entered the era of 'teen',

Something started pouring out of my heart's bin...

The hangouts with friends now were a hurdle,

As i searched for some time to giggle,

Excuses at home and urge of pocket money,

Were all for you, my sweet honey...

How can i forget,

Those nights on phone, full of isolation,

Which i managed, amidst high competition! ! ! !

I can say

Its wrong that slow and steady wins the race,

As my feelings for you were growing at lightening pace....

Then came the phase of tests and challenges,

But we easily withstood all the changes,

That was the time when you became special than a friend,

I then realised that it was love at my and your end.

Finally the day has come, which was most awaited

I wanna be yours- ever dedicated.....

And now what i say is very true,

When it comes to my valentine- I want it to be you.....
