Wait And Bleed Poem by Michael Koelliker

Wait And Bleed

Rating: 5.0

I feel confusion all around me,
Locked in this room, I wish to be loved by you,
By the time I reach you, you have chosen,
And the one you have chosen is not me,
I lack the love I need.
And for this I wait and bleed!

I sit here wrapped in self pity,
Hoping for an undecided fate,
Surrounding my self in Death’s image,
Reaching for that latent picture that I have of you.
And for this I wait and bleed!

Tonight I will long for you,
In my bed my love is true,
Feeling bad for all that’s wrong.
If I’ve hurt you, I apologize for all I’ve done.
And for this I wait and bleed!

To be or not to be,
That is the question,
The answer’s hidden among all that is to come.
I feel desperate I feel pathetic.
And for this I wait and bleed!

Love is the answer,
To all my problems,
Your love is the only cure to my depression,
But the truth is that you didn’t choose me!
And for this I wait and bleed!

I feel as though I am surrounded by the immeasurable sadness that is able to find relief only through your words. Amazing as usual.
