Why Can'T I Sleep? Poem by Trenton Davis

Why Can'T I Sleep?

i lay there,
tired,
but my mind's racing.
so fast,
that i can't even think of sleep,
thinking of all the bad in the world,
all that makes me depressed,
all the make me wanna put out the blade,
cut till i cry,
play my chem till i feel like cutting more,
jump out the window,
'hopefully i'll die this time',
'or maybe next time',
grab a gun,
make it go 'boom',
as the fragments of my skull begin to fall,
my mom screams,
at the top of her lungs,
but i cant care cause im no more.

Ah, you attention-seeking teen! ! So here's the deal: (1) Sleep during sleeping time (no music.MP3, etc) . (2) Read 'Sleep, Tender Heart' by Raj Arumugam at PH. (3) If this doesn't work, write to me. Cheers. Subroto
