Why Do Fools Fall In Love? Poem by Christopher Thomas

Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

As I slid my warm hands
Up her long, slender thighs,
I loved the feel of her fishnets
That’s what first caught my eye.
Her body was so shapely
She had such a beautiful face,
Her makeup was impeccable
With not one hair out of place.
My hands started to tremble
And my mouth went all dry,
I’ve been with plenty of women
But this one made me shy!
A lot of people were staring
They soon became a crowd,
Nothing was going to spoil it
I defiantly stood my ground.
I started breathing quite heavily
My poor heart began to race,
As my lips locked with her lips
I couldn’t stop kissing her face.
Then I started to notice
She had hardly reacted,
The crowd all moved in
And some had interacted.
Two security guards arrived
They forced me to let her go,
Why this girl never murmured
I suppose I’ll never know.
I’m barred from Primark now,
I didn’t know she was a mannequin!
