Heart And Mind

What is the conflict between heart and mind?
Why can’t I see it! ! Am I blind?

Heart sees no consequences, tells me what it wants
Think twice before your step, My mind warns

You ain’t alone in this world, answerable to many
Oh damn! This is my life, I don’t owe them a penny

Take in all criticism, do what is best to you
The best of all is doing what I want to do

Know your limitations, put your wishes on standby
Oh! I am a free individual, I have a right to fly

Don’t Divert! Go with the flow and you will glow
Because my ideas are different, should I keep them low?

Colorful future is assured by the examples of many
I prefer not one of many rather one in many

What if your are called dumb, this is considered arrogance
I know what I am, why should the world know my fragrance

Think you stupid heart, with the shallowness you might sink
Oh you silly mind, I don’t have a mind to think!
