I hear the voices cry
from a long time ago
blowing through the wind
on a broken trail of tears

My life is an open book
for the whole world to see
I give it all to you
of what's inside of me

Your footprints left behind in the sand
but just like the memories
they get washed away with every wave
that crashes upon the shore

Out of the darkness
of the shadow of my soul
a light came shining upon me
shining through of all living things

You can say what you will
call me any kind of name
I heard them all before
and though sticks and stones
...

The wind blows a whisper
in a gentle breeze tonight
as the sound of silence
fills the midnight air
...

It took so long to find a way
to not hold on and let you go
just to turn and walk away
from a love that would never show
...

I met an Angel from Heaven tonight
that came down to hold me tight
I met her here inside my dreams before
she has always been there a time or two

Saw a falling star
that lit the skies night
and thought of you
made me wonder tonight
