Stefani Dutey Biography

Hi, i'm stefani. I love to sing, draw, dance, act, and write :) I normally spell things out the way they are supposed to be. I'm an average student with average grades at buckeye valley high school, but just because i'm not 'book smart' doesn't mean i'm not street smart either... for a teenager.. I've been through alot, but my poems aren't neccassarily how i truely feel. I write them from my imagination, not from true facts.)

Counting Dandelions

Counting Dandelions
dancing with the wind;
singing the sorrow
that lingers within.
Hold my breath
and close my eyes,
this moment is sliipping
i watch it pass by.

Counting Dandelions
listening to their sweet song.
my throat is all choked up,
so can't sing along,
but as i listen
the tears fill my eyes,
I weep upon my knees
to their silent lullaby.

Counting Dandelions
as the frost steals their lives.
I see fewer of them,
from the ticking of time.
And though the beauty's gone,
from winters no mercy,
i still await for
the beauty of spring.
