Earthly think of me
as the unrolling mists
stepping out of the way, they grind
the warm fortune of unknown feet
...

SHE comes back
where always she does
among a lot of ones, an only one
un-beloved and hanging pendant

I’ll cross the Mississippi
my legs are far so pretty
rhythm the steps
any longer the drowning dawn

So let’s imagine Bloom
the Mister one
counting the heads at the funeral
like an Ulysses from the abyss of a dawn

Mound Of The Earth

Earthly think of me
as the unrolling mists
stepping out of the way, they grind
the warm fortune of unknown feet

a kiss of bless
on the forehead, pardon Sir
I didn’t even touch your eyes
blind hollows of mine
hopeless fists of stars, knock-knocking
your pain down the skin they dance
and dance and lose bloody chances

on the ground silence’s on my knees
grey grey grey grey now they grey
mound of the earth, yes weeping
innumerable groves of pity and grace

I’ve been weaving my voice to the dome
of ash words and sad
maybe a breathless curse, roundness of fired skies
or simply ain’t I the foggy tears,
my heart transmuted into dust.
