Dark Song

Heart beat slowing,
Blood still flowing,
World around me growing dim.
Family pacing,
Mind is racing;
What could I have done?
What could I have been?
My time has come
To see the last of the sun,
As sleep begins to take me.
Music plays
As I drift away.
Singing my last song into darkness.
