Mixed Feelings

Sometimes I can't believe
that these things happen to us.
But then I look into the sky...

The sky is just so blue
The sun is just too bright
The clouds just floating by
Let me know how I’m feeling

The sky is just so black
The moon is just not shining
The stars just sitting there
Let me know how I’m feeling

The sea is just so blue
The sand is overwhelming
The waves just splashing there
Let me know how I’m feeling

The sea is just so black
The sand is oh so morbid
The crashing, ranting waves
Let me know how I’m feeling

I just don’t know how I
Should tell you these things
Other than in a song...
Or in a poem...like this

I guess you could say that
I’m just a little confused
About the way that this
Is working out

Infact I don’t even know
If this is working out so
I might as well
say it straight out now

I don’t know who I am
I don’t know what I’m feeling
I don’t know where I am
Or even if I’m healing

I love you
and I want to make you free
Free from me
Why is that so hard to believe?
