Now your sitting here feeling real stupid.
You said you was looking for a love that would always last,
Now you have made her a part of your past.
You had everything you was looking for right in front of your face,
Now you are looking for someone to take her place.
You told her that there would be no good-byes,
Now she sees that it was all lies.
She trusted you with all of her heart,
Now it has torn a part.
She was the best thing you ever had,
Now your the dumb one looking all sad.
Wanting to hold her in your arms so tight,
Now your wishing that you never started that fight.
You realize that she is gone,
Now you are missing her like yesterday's dawn.
AND NOW...
When you look into anothers eyes, you see only her face,
In time you realize that no one will ever take her place.
