Fire In Your Eyes

I see the way you’re looking
And I know what you’re trying to disguise
But you can’t hide what you feel from me
‘Cause I can see the fire in your eyes
It may just be a small flicker to some
Going unnoticed by almost all
But not me, never me
I’m not blocked by your mental wall
Your hair flows beautifully in the breeze
And your dress compliments your eyes
But there is more to see behind those gems
Than just the colour of the skies
Your eyes shone bright on that magical night
And you reminded me of others like you
But once again I am alone
Because you have gone too
And as I sit here writing this
My insides feeling sore
I know deep in my heart
That your fire will burn no more
