Wake Up

A call last night
Was it to awake me or
Smother me?
It opened up my senses
It kindled my heart
Then it spread slowly
The loathe there in
It zipped my lips
It moistened my lids
Is this what I awoke for?
Stop feeling it said
U mean stop living?
Don’t think it said
You mean not to breathe?
U are not appreciated
U are not loved
U don’t kindle the fire anymore
I have a big cloud to follow
How far can you come with me?
You would trip and fall
Face down
My path is a maze
Your steps are frail
The burn in your heart
Go extinguish it
Not with my mercy
True I lit it up
But I don’t have the fuel anymore
The match that lit it up
Is buried deep in the snow
