Suchitra Bandi Poems
I am blooming flower, awaiting the rain.. I am a perennial river, Flowing down the plain..
A rainy hue..
I was wandering alone, in a green green glade, There came a cloud, a welcome shower it bade..
A chill was emanating all around, It was just the sunrise in the morn', I got up and know what I found? The leaves and grass just new born.
Where There's a Will
What truly lies in my heart, I will tell you as I speak.. I am a woman of secrets, A secret is what I seek..
In My Treasure Trove
I look at the treasured memories, When I look back into the past.. They remind me of many days, And the Lovely spell you Cast..
Love never hurts!
No it doesnt hurt.. It just pains a little bit.. but that little bit stretches to eternity.. But love never hurts..
In your thoughts
A little dove was flying, like a white speck in the blue sky, my thoughts took wings as I looked at it, and they soared high and high..
What Am I?
What am I? I ask myself today, A selfish fiend who cares for none, I would have been a human being, if atleast, I could care for one.
I climbed up the terrace, and I found myself facing the sea, The waves crashing the shore, shining even in the mist dreary.
I saw a lonely tree, on the shores of the sea, standing all alone, and I heard a little moan.
on our Independence day..
For more than a century, we endured the bristish rule.. We lead a submissed life, full of fear, grief and pule..
i blinked my eyelids, and lo! what i see? i saw the world's end, where souls were set free..
Even now I think of you, I remeber the moments not a few, but all those wonderful hours and seconds, the places where we spent our weekends,
I saw the pitch dark Horizon, Brightening up in the rising sun.. I saw the flowers, withered and cold,

I am blooming flower,
awaiting the rain..
I am a perennial river,
Flowing down the plain..
I am a flying bird,
spreading its wings..
I am nightingale,
and the melodies it sings..
I am a dancing doll,
that swings to the tunes..
I am the endless desert,
with lofty sand dunes..
I am a lovely girl,
lovely as a work of art,
I am a glorious sunrise,
that draws the life's cart..
