Suna Dragonash Biography

Let's see, I have been writing poetry for the past two years, I just joined poemhunter, and I am already loving it. I love anything to do with dragons, the band Iron Maiden, fishing, anything outdoors, riding atv's Music, and I love to sing, and of course write poetry. I have a daughter that's 16, and I have been divorced twice. Still looking for that special someone though haven't given up hope. I'm in a wheelchair due to a car accident back in January 14,1991. It's been my daughter and my sister that have both keep me going and been an inspiration. I love my daughter and my family dearly. Thankfully they have always been there for me.)

Dragon's Skin

A Dragon's skin

is what I need,

to protect this frail heart

from people who say they love me.

A Dragon's strength,

to let go

and not look back.

A tough exterior,

that's hard to break through,

and the power

of the Dragon's heart.

To distinguish the truth

from those who are just fakes.

A Dragon's skin,

that looks fierce

on the outside.

But can also be

warm and loving,

and truly loyal.

A Dragon's skin

one that will

set me apart.

It will give

me the strength,

to be who I am.

Yes a Dragon's skin

is what I need.

So people will realize

that I'm tried and true,

and not just blowing smoke.
