Where Am I?

Giving the pain of love
Separating the relation with womb
Cushioned on mom’s bosoms
High in the palms of father
Spreading hopes and smiles
I stepped into this world
But, where am I today

I cried, I laughed
Tears of joy brightened them
I crawled, I became naughty
Still, the shine didn’t fade
I walked, I fell
I tried, I ran
But, where am I today

Left in the crowd by parents
Some cried, some wondered
Getting cared, feeling secured
Seeing changes, knowing seasons
Trusting hearts, sharing minds
Cherishing moments, grew I
But, where am I today

In the twilight of adolescence
Lightening the lamp of dreams
Inspired by the moral in candle
Pleased by the beauty of love
Realizing shoulders through pillars
Wishing virtues, I was there to serve
But, where am I today

Greedy for fame, callous for wealth
Perverse in the shade of jealousy
Selfish in the clouds of melodrama
Drowned in sins, flooded by miseries
Lacking mercy, thirsty for harmony
I find this world

With a long walk left
Looking around, exploring shadow
