Unreturned Love: It Eats Away The Soul

I’m locked in a void with no one else
I've given up: Can't save myself
I'm showing the signs but you still cant see
The hopeless creature that has become me.
Darkness presses in and somehow I don't fear
Shadows that haunted me for years


The walls close in and press against me; cold.
For so long I've had to wait
Fighting the shadows, growing old
But now I have surrendered to Fate



You had the time but you just didn't care
That for so long I was willing to share
My soul my life all my few years
The time is gone and now it seems
I'm drowning in my own tears
Smothered by my screams.
