How can I forget
Your silly whispers
Your innocent smiles

You did not see it on that fateful day
Through curtains heavy with my waiting tears
You pulled them aside, what was in the way
Were staring strangers and your deepest fears

I know your hiding places
Your tricks, covers, the faces
You put on when I seek you
...

Your mouth is so full of ambition
No sound can carry the admission
So you write it
...

You say: Where did you find this
It sounds sad, play it again,
And what does that word mean
I tell you that I don't know
