Truth Underneath It All

We laugh till we cry
We cry till we laugh
Hope no one sees through it
Because we dont want anyone to know

Underneath our skin
We have cuts
Underneath our unbroken hearts
We have 'torn to pieces' of nothing

We wait for them to see
But once they do we say 'its nothing! '
Loyal our friends are
Truthful we are not

As much as we want to tell
We cant because we dont want to worry them
Loving our family is one thing
Having them love you back is different

They dont feel our pain
They dont see our tears
Before they get a chance to say anything
We block them out

When we fall for someone
We fall hard
And when someone tries to come back
We become a crazy teenage girl.
