You know when you're getting older and aged

A question mark is something
You can hang above your head

The Lighthorse.

We'd long since left Khalasa on the Gaza's desert tracks
We'd taken Tel es Saba and all places at our backs
...

When neighbors, workmates, family too
Fill my life with much ado
I sort it all out in the end
With lots of help from my best friend
...

The boots were left on the back porch,
But that hat always came inside
Mum often made the joke 'the hat,
Would accompany dad when he died'

One hundred stories up my Lord
One hundred stories down
The agony we feel my Lord
Destruction all around

Now I'm not an expert, or all knowing man
And I don't want to sound like a squealer
But one thing I've missed, most in my life
Is the love of a beaut sort of sheila

When I was just a little boy, whenever I was hurt
My mother oft with bandages, at times torn from her skirt
Would clean me up then hug me, to melt away my fears
And I would notice often, that her eyes would fill with tears
